“We upgraded the room the second night to one of their renovated rooms. The in renovated room we booked we can’t recommend. If you can book a renovated room then we highly recommend. The difference between the rooms were night and day.”

“This is a beautiful hotel located on top of a hill. The view on the backside is amazing. You can see part of lake Thun and the mountain range. It has a balcony on the back side overlooking the mountain and the lake. We visited in early September, but still was a bit hot. Room has a fan that helped. The staff was very helpful.”

“The room was clean and quite nice. Unfortunately no bath robe and slippers. No gym either. Nice breakfast the morning after. Parking very expensive. Do not use it, there is a public one close and much cheaper. The position of the hotel is central. On the railway tracks but no noise at all. Overall a good experience.”

“If you’re thinking of booking this… just do it! This was the coolest hotel I have ever stayed at. Right off the train station at Murren up a steep short hill. They have a porter service but we just had back packs so just walked up the short path. Easy! Walkable to the little down town where they have a few shops and restaurants. We ate the first night at the hotel bar which had amazing views, great food and amazing service! Shout out to Mateo who was a great server! We also ate dinner in the...

“L'albergo è bello, la vista sulle montagne pure. La colazione è abbondante. Non c'è un parcheggio coperto, ma un posto auto sì. L'elemento che lascia un po' perplessi è il prezzo: il costo di una notte è eccessivo. L'albergo in cui abbiamo soggiornato la notte precedente a Berna (sempre in Svizzera) non offriva di meno, ma costava poco più di metà.Grindewald è circondata da bellissime montagne, ma di per sé non ha nessuna bellezza (niente a che vedere con alcuni altri centri montani delle Alpi)....

“It was a good stay overall. Big room.Though Room was non AC but we were provided with Table Fans (Extra one was also given upon request) and quite apt for overall weather. It was accessible from main market and can cover by walk. Bus stop was also very close. ”

The only area that could use some improvement is the property’s condition. Some renovations or updates would enhance the overall appearance, and the hallway carpets could be cleaned or replaced, as they looked quite worn and dirty. Other than that, I had a great stay and enjoyed my overall experience.”
